STCTWIN: The Twin Cities Chapter Email List

The Twin Cities Chapter email list is an announcement-only list designed to keep members informed about Society and Chapter events, including monthly programs, conferences, competitions, and seminars.

What will I receive if I join the mailing list?

The mailing list is used to notify you about Twin Cities Chapter-sponsored events, local events we think you'd be interested in as a technical communicator, and non-profit or educational events. We will also publicize events that we co-sponsor with other professional groups. No private or for-profit events will be publicized through the chapter email list.

We generally start publicizing an event a month before it happens, and send out three or four emails about the event, with at least three days between the notices. We don't want to overwhelm you, but we do want you to keep informed on what's going on.

Joining the list

If you are a member and are not receiving email notices, chances are we do not have your current email address. Join using the web or send an email.

Leaving the list

You can unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions at the bottom of every email message sent from the list.

Changing your address

Unfortunately, our chapter mailing list is not connected with the Society's membership database. So, if your address changes, please use the instructions above to join with your new address and unsubscribe with the old one.

To change your email address (or other contact information) with the Society, please use the Society's address change form.
