Volunteering

Help the STC Twin Cities Community remain a vital organization! You—and other members whom you know and respect—can perform this important function. How? Be a volunteer!

Volunteers Needed!

Remember that old adage about a chain being only as strong as its weakest link? The same is true of our organization; to make it strong and vital, members need to volunteer. Do you have an extra hour, a few hours, a few hours a month, or some secret talent you’re dying to showcase?

STC-TC is the perfect place to flex your volunteer muscles. Try something out of your comfort zone. Do something you like to do and do well. Do something to get an extra line on your resume. You get the idea -- just DO something -- volunteer!

Specific jobs needed:

  • Arrangements manager
  • Membership manager
  • Online Competition Manager
  • Committee assignments in most standing committees

Contact any of the administrative council members. We’ll be happy to answer questions, mentor you, and get you in place in one of the open spots.

Ask yourself:

  • Do I like to meet new people to expand my professional network?
  • Am I good at listening to and implementing ideas?
  • Would I like to gain more leadership skills or work on project management skills?
  • Would I like to be more active in the community?
  • Do I think I can help direct and administer communityr activities?
  • Could I help coordinate monthly programs?

How Can I Volunteer?

If you answer, "Yes!" to any of the questions, contact us.
