The Twin Cities Community is in Size Category 2 (301-600 members). Four communities have more members: Washington, DC (Size Category 2), Puget Sound, Boston, and Silicon Valley (Size Category 1 more than 600 members). Some Society-level community recognition programs are judged according to size of membership, such as chapter achievement awards and most improved award of the STC newsletter competition. The figures will be used for recognition programs throughout the current fiscal year, July 1, 2005-June 30, 2006.
