Tell Me About Yourself, with Esther Choy
December 12 @ 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Technical communication professionals are translators. We translate the language of a complex world, relate technical concepts to a broader audience, and persuade that audience to take action. Yet when we’re asked to share information about ourselves, many of us feel stumped and fumble for words.
Since the dawn of time, our ancestors told stories to inform and influence. Our own story can help us build our influence. In this 60-minute interactive webinar, Esther Choy, author of the new book, Let the Story Do the Work, leads you through her Storytelling Process to help you capture the essence of your value, weave critical data in a narrative format, and tell endless brief and brilliant stories. Next time someone asks you to “Tell me about yourself,” you’ll know exactly what to say!
A copy of Esther’s book (Let the Story Do the Work) will be given to one of the meeting attendees.
