Local Competition Wrap-Up

We are currently wrapping up the competition.

Our local chapter received 11 entries. 3 Informational, 1 Instructional, 0 Promotional, 7 User Support entries.

5 received Merit Awards, 3 received Excellence Awards.

Some interesting factoids:

We exchanged with STC Southern California and judged their 26 entries.
We trained 26 judges from our TC community who generously voluteered their time and talent to evaluate entries for our exchange chapter.
The competition has changed considerably from previous years. We have new judging evaluation forms (See Be a Judge for links to new forms). See Competition Categories for more information about the new categories.
Award winners will be posted after the awards banquet.

Entering the International Summit Awards Competition

Entries winning an Award of Excellence or Distinguished at the local level are eligible to submit to the International Summit Awards. Submissions must be made by the local chapter. You must contact Pat Overbo by February 8 if you would like to submit your winning entry.
