STC’s 2010 COMMUNITY RENEWAL CHALLENGE
 The trumpet has sounded!
Please line up your horses and enter the starting gates for STC's 2010 Community Renewal Challenge.
The Challenge runs from 4 February through 19 March.
Communities or chapters in each category that obtain the highest renewal percentage rate will be declared the winners and receive these prizes to raffle off to their members:
- One 23" Full HD LCD Monitor
- One Terabyte (TB) Desktop External Hard Drive
- One 2010 STC Summit Registration
- One 2010 Basic Membership Upgrade to Gold
- One 2011 Basic Membership Renewal
And they’re off!
Each community and chapter competes against the other communities and chapters in their category. The community or chapter in each category with the highest renewal percentage rate will be crowned the winner.
To be eligible for prizes, the community or chapter must reach the qualifying renewal rate of 60 percent or better.
STC Community/Chapter Categories
- Category 1 (601 or more members)
- Category 2 (301 to 600 members)
- Category 3 (151 to 300 members)
- Category 4 (76 to 150 members)
- Category 5 (41 to 75 members)
- Category 6 (15 to 40 members)
STC Retention Awards
STC will honor the communities and chapters having the highest retention rates with special recognition at the 2010 Technical Communication Summit, 2-5 May in Dallas, Texas.
- Winners will be announced 26 March
- Winning percentages include all members who have already renewed for 2010
- The free registration must be used for STC’s 2010 Technical Communication Summit
