What are Special Interest Groups?

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are groups of STC members with common interests or employment situations. Members meet periodically to share their knowledge and experience and learn from each other. SIGs are active both locally and internationally.  See SIG Information for more information.

How Do I Join a SIG?

You are welcome to attend a community-level SIG meeting any time. If you want to formally join a Society-sponsored SIG, go to the Society website to complete the application form. You may also join a SIG whenever you renew your membership.  SIGs are listed on the membership form. Your SIG membership depends on the membership choices you made when you renewed your membership. For details, refer to the Society's SIG general information page.

Can I Form a Community-Level SIG?

Do you have an interest that isn't associated with a society-level SIG?  Consider forming a community-level SIG.  Contact someone from the leadership team for more information.
